We all have a story to tell…
Mine is about modern men's interaction with nature. That fine dance that makes us feel that we are in the right place at the right time. Our craft that calls us to be outdoors; immersed over and over again.
As a longtime climber, runner and surfer, I left the known for the unknown when I moved into a van and gave room for my yearning for simplicity and beauty. Saying goodbye to my city life I picked up a camera ready to dive headfirst into an unconventional and unexpected journey. Whether dangling on ropes or diving under big waves, accessing challenging places with a camera became my happy place.
Photography not only gave me a platform to convey my love and awe for the outdoors, but a modality to give back and connect to people. I am called to wild places eager to capture the beauty that moves so many of us and to tell the stories of those who realized their inner child and their connectedness to nature.
“As we journey through life, our task is to deepen our relationship with the living world around us and within us. What if this pilgrimage we are on is not about achieving or conquering something but about being? About dissolving the illusion of separateness and stepping into a new way of seeing—one that embraces the totality of the human experience and the interconnectedness of all life?”
